Getting Started The Basics
We build growth systems for UK businesses — combining website design, SEO, Google Ads, paid advertising on Meta, CRM setup, and automation into a single managed service. Rather than hiring multiple agencies for different channels, you get one team that builds and manages the entire system from lead generation through to follow-up and conversion.
Most agencies sell individual services — an SEO agency does SEO, a PPC agency does ads. TTT builds connected systems. Every element we put in place is designed to work with everything else: your Google Ads feed your CRM, your CRM triggers your automation, your automation feeds your speed-to-lead system. The result is a compounding growth machine, not a collection of siloed services.
The best starting point is a free strategy call — we'll ask about your business type, current lead volume, average job value, and growth goals, then recommend the right entry point. As a general guide: local trade businesses (plumbers, builders, cleaners) typically start with Google Local Ads. Professional service businesses and higher-enquiry companies usually start with The Foundation package. Businesses already generating leads but not converting them well usually benefit from the Growth Engine.
Our packages are designed for two broad categories: local service and trade businesses (plumbers, electricians, removal companies, cleaners, landscapers) and higher-enquiry businesses (estate agents, mortgage brokers, financial advisers, solicitors, consultants). If your business generates revenue through enquiries and appointments rather than e-commerce transactions, there's a package for you.
All packages are available on a rolling monthly basis after an initial 3-month commitment. The 3-month minimum exists because marketing systems need time to gather data and optimise — expecting results in 30 days sets everyone up for disappointment. Most clients see meaningful results within 6–10 weeks and choose to stay long-term.
Google Local Ads LSA — The Fast Track to Verified Leads
Google Local Services Ads (LSAs) are a specific ad format that sits at the very top of Google search results — above standard paid ads, above the map pack, and above all organic listings. Unlike standard Google Ads where you pay per click, with LSAs you only pay when a verified lead contacts you directly via phone or message. Google vets your business before approving your ads, which earns you a 'Google Verified' badge that significantly increases trust with potential customers.
The Tailored Tree's Google Local Ads package starts from £300/mo, which includes £150/mo in ad spend and our full management fee. At this spend level, most local service businesses generate 4–8 verified leads per week. You can scale your ad spend at any time — more budget means proportionally more leads, with no changes to the management fee structure.
LSAs are available for a wide range of local service categories in the UK, including: plumbers, electricians, heating engineers, roofers, builders, painters and decorators, removal companies, cleaning services, landscapers, locksmiths, pest control, and many more. If you're a local service business and someone might search for you on Google, there's a very high chance LSAs are available in your category.
The setup and Google verification process typically takes 1–3 weeks depending on your business category and how quickly Google processes the verification. Once approved, your ads go live immediately and you should start seeing leads within the first week.
One of the key benefits of Google Local Services Ads is the lead dispute system. If you receive a call that was clearly spam, a wrong number, or an irrelevant enquiry, we submit a dispute on your behalf through the Google LSA platform. Successfully disputed leads are credited back — you don't pay for them.
SEO Rankings, Traffic & Long-Term Authority
Honest answer: meaningful SEO results typically start appearing in 3–6 months, with more substantial ranking improvements in 6–12 months. This depends on how competitive your market is, your current website's technical health, and how aggressively we pursue content and link building. SEO is the only marketing channel that gets cheaper the longer you invest in it — rankings achieved in month 4 still pay dividends in year 4.
Local SEO specifically targets searches with geographic intent — 'plumber in Manchester', 'estate agent near me', 'accountant Bristol'. It includes optimising your Google Business Profile, building local citations, acquiring reviews, and creating location-specific content. Standard (national) SEO targets broader terms without geographic qualifiers. For most TTT clients — who serve customers in a specific area — local SEO is the priority.
Yes — and here's why: Google Ads stop generating leads the moment you stop paying. SEO builds an asset that compounds over time and generates leads for free. The ideal strategy (used in our Grow and Scale packages) combines both: paid ads for immediate lead flow while SEO builds long-term organic authority. Businesses that rely solely on paid ads are one budget cut away from zero leads.
Our SEO service includes: a full technical and content audit, on-page optimisation of all key service pages (title tags, H1s, meta descriptions, internal linking, structured data), Google Business Profile optimisation with a review acquisition strategy, monthly content publishing targeting your key search terms, and citation/link building to grow your domain authority. You receive a monthly report showing keyword movement, traffic changes, and new content published.
SEO works for any business where customers search on Google before making a decision — which includes virtually every B2C service business in the UK. We've seen particularly strong results for local trades, professional services, financial services, and healthcare-adjacent businesses. The key variable isn't industry — it's competition level. We'll give you an honest assessment of your local SEO opportunity during the free strategy call.
Packages & Pricing Costs, Setup Fees & What's Included
There are six packages across three stages of growth. At the Acquire stage: Google Local Ads (from £300/mo) for local service businesses, and The Foundation (from £997/mo) for higher-enquiry businesses needing a full CRM and ads system. At the Grow stage: Site + Ads + SEO (from £500/mo) for local businesses, and the Growth Engine (from £1,797/mo) for full-system growth. At the Scale stage: Speed-to-Lead (tailored quote) for local businesses at volume, and the Full Scale System (from £3,297/mo). Each package page has a full feature breakdown.
Yes — most packages have a one-time setup fee that covers website build, CRM configuration, ad account setup, and system integration. Setup fees range from £500 for simpler packages to £3,500 for the Full Scale System. These are disclosed clearly on each package page. The setup fee is separate from the monthly retainer.
Absolutely — and most clients do. Many local service businesses start with Google Local Ads, build their lead volume and confidence, then upgrade to the Grow stage to add a website and full SEO. We design each package so upgrading is a natural next step, not a painful transition. There are no penalties for upgrading.
For Google Local Ads, the minimum £150/mo ad spend is included within the £300/mo package price. This is the actual budget spent on Google's platform to generate your leads — it's not an additional charge on top. If you want more leads, you increase the ad spend, which sits on top of the management fee. The management fee stays the same regardless of how much you scale your ad budget.
We guarantee a minimum of 4 verified leads per month on our Google Local Ads package at the £300/mo spend level — or we refund that month's management fee. For SEO and other packages, we don't offer guaranteed ranking positions (no ethical agency can — Google's algorithm isn't in our control), but we do guarantee full transparency on everything we're doing, regular reporting, and that we'll never lock you into tools or platforms you can't take with you if you leave.
Automation & CRM Systems That Work While You Sleep
CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management — it's a system that tracks every lead, where they came from, what stage they're at in your pipeline, and your entire communication history with them. If you're currently managing your leads from memory, a notes app, or a spreadsheet, a CRM is transformative. It ensures no lead is forgotten, makes follow-up automatic, and gives you clear data on your close rate, average deal value, and lead sources.
Marketing automation handles the repetitive, time-sensitive tasks that humans are bad at — especially follow-up. When a new lead comes in, automation immediately sends a personalised response (before your competitor does), adds the lead to your CRM, assigns a follow-up task, and starts a nurture sequence if they don't respond. It runs 24/7, responds in seconds, and never forgets to follow up.
We work with GoHighLevel (GHL) as our primary platform — it combines CRM, email automation, SMS, call tracking, pipeline management, and booking calendars in one tool. For clients who already use a specific CRM, we can often work with or alongside it. We'll discuss the best fit during your strategy call.
Speed-to-lead is the time between a lead enquiring and your business making first contact. Research from Harvard Business Review shows that businesses responding within 5 minutes are 21× more likely to qualify a lead than those responding after an hour. Most UK businesses take 24–47 hours to respond — meaning the majority of their leads have already called someone else. Speed-to-lead automation solves this by triggering an instant SMS and email the moment a lead comes in.
Your data is always yours. Your CRM contacts, pipeline data, email history, and all assets we build for you are exportable at any time. We specifically avoid locking clients into proprietary systems they can't access. If you leave, you take everything with you. This is a deliberate policy — we want clients to stay because the results are good, not because leaving is painful.
Working with TTT Onboarding, Reporting & Day-to-Day
The strategy call is a 30–45 minute conversation (phone or video) with one of our team. We'll ask about your business, current lead sources, average job value, monthly revenue goal, and biggest bottlenecks. By the end, we'll recommend the package that fits your situation, explain exactly what it includes, and give you a clear picture of what results to expect and when. There's no hard sell — if we don't think we can help, we'll tell you.
Once you've decided on a package, onboarding typically begins within 5 business days. For Google Local Ads, the setup and Google verification process takes 1–3 weeks. For packages involving a website build, we start the discovery process immediately — your new site is typically live within 4–6 weeks. CRM and automation setup happens in parallel with any website build.
Every client receives a monthly performance report covering all active channels: lead volume, cost per lead, Google rankings movement (for SEO clients), ad spend and ROAS, CRM pipeline health, and automation performance. For Scale clients, we hold a monthly call to review results and plan the next month. You'll never be left wondering what's happening with your account.
No. You don't need to understand Google Ads, SEO, CRM configuration, or automation workflows. Our job is to handle all of that. You need to be responsive during the onboarding phase (we'll ask you questions about your business and goals), approve designs and content before they go live, and check your monthly report. Everything else is on us.
